Additional Comments:<\/strong> I was stationed in Okinawa in late 1964, and early 1965, before I went to VietNam. I cannot remember the Okinawan woman I was seeing at the time, but she was working as a housemaid in the US Marine Corps Band Barracks at Camp Courtney. We had a relationship during early 1965 before I left for Vietnam. I came back to Okinawa for a short stay in either late 1965 or early 1966. At that time I found out I had a daughter, who was born on December 23, 1965. All I remember is that her name was Madiko. I had to go back to VietNam right after that and I corresponded with her Mother for about two months, then the letters I sent came back with no forwarding address. I went back up to Okinawa several months later but I could not find out any information. I would like to find Madiko, and be able to establish a Father\/Daughter relationship, if that is possible. This would be the only blood offspring I have. Additional Info: <\/strong> Hello out there!  I have tried many times to find ones whom I have a lasting, vivid memory of…while stationed in Okinawa.  I went to Zukeran Elementary School<\/em> and had (for my last teacher) Mrs. Hoenthal.  *Excuse the spelling!  It’s pronounced as it is spelled, if it helps! \ud83d\ude42  Anyway, Susan Bowers and I were like sisters.  In fact, many thought we were since we looked so much alike!  I left in the summer of 1985 to go back to Fort Devens, Massachusetts.  I am currently not at Fort Devens, but I am still residing in Massachusetts.  If ANYONE knows or have heard of Susan Bowers, or better yet… if anyone remembers ME…please let me know!  I am terribly "home sick" and the ones whom I remember growing up in Okinawa with… SUSAN BOWERS, NAOMI, DANIEL DIGGS, PATRICK, DON WALSH, BOBBY and many, many more… I would like them all to know that they are sorely missed and I hope all are well!!!!  MISS YOU ALL!

Jun would be 47 now. I would like him to get to know his son. They have not seen each other in 18 years. Jimi Onisawa (his son) has some exciting news for his father. Jimi needs to know him. Even though Jun has opted to lose contact with us, I haven’t been actively pursuing it either. While I spoke Japanese then, it has suffered terribly in the past 18 years, and Jimi doesn’t speak it at all anymore. Jun used to be in a band (a keyboardist) and they played at Cannon in Koza. Some of his friends may still be there–Kozo, Shigeru, Daichan. Jun is originally from Ibaragi-Ken Japan, but he has lived on Okinawa for some time. The last time I spoke with him was 5 or 6 years ago, (like I said my Japanese is gone), and from what I could understand he was a carpenter or something of that nature now, but he also said that he still plays music once in a while. Jimi was born at Seventh Day Adventist hospital in Naha. I hope someone can help me get these first two men in my life together again. That was the best time in my life, and Jimi has turned into a handsome young man, who has his father’s musical traits. If you need any more information, do not hesitate to contact me.
