color: rgb(0, 51, 0);\">During King Tamagusuku`s reign, things turned for the worse in the Ryukyu Kingdom.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>History recalls that he was a tyrant, often refusing to even meet with the advisors on his court in addition to being abusive to those in his government. <\/span><br \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt; line-height: 200%;\" class=\"MsoPlainText\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\"><span style=\"\"> <\/span>For these reasons, he lost the support of the powerful Anji families in the north and south.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>This resulted in the breaking up the vast Chuzan (<\/span><st1:place><st1:placename><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">Middle<\/span><\/st1:placename><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\" class=\"MsoPlainText\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">Hokuzan, led by Wakoso, Anji of Nakijin consisted of Nakijin, Kin, Nago Haneji, Kunjan(present Kunigami), Ie Island, and <\/span><st1:place><st1:placename><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">Iyeha<\/span><\/st1:placename><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\"> <\/span><st1:placetype><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">Island<\/span><\/st1:placetype><\/st1:place><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The southern mountain kingdom, Nanzan, bowed to the new king, Mizukara, Anji of Ozato.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>His control spread over Kochinda, Ozato, Gushichan, Kyan, Tomishiro, Sashiki, Tamagusuku, Chinen, Kanegusuku and Mabuni. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt; line-height: 200%;\" class=\"MsoPlainText\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\"><span style=\"\">              <\/span>Chuzan`s King Tamagusuku retained the loyalty of Naha, Tomari, Goeku<\/span><span antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" mso-hansi-font-family:=\"\" mso-ascii-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">&#12288;<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">(present Okinawa City), Yuntanzan<\/span><span antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" mso-hansi-font-family:=\"\" mso-ascii-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">&#12288;<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">(Yomitan), Katsuren, Gushikawa (both of Uruma City), Shurimihira, Urasoe, and Chatan.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt; line-height: 200%;\" class=\"MsoPlainText\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" mso-fareast-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" antiqua=\"\" book=\"\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 51, 0); line-height: 200%;\">In 1366, at age 41 and his kingdom reduced in size by 2\/3, King Tamagusuku passed on.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The 5<sup>th<\/sup> and last king of the Eiso line was a 10 year old sickly boy.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The arrangement became a defacto arrangement of an empress and her puppet; with the puppet being King Nishii and the empress his mother.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>King Nishii`s uninspired reign came to an end in (Year), when at the relative young age of 22 he died of a chronic illness.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The people, being out of King Eiso heirs, went back to the people, searching for a virtual savior, from among there own ranks.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;
