line-height: 200%;\">&#9320;<\/span><\/strong><strong style=\"\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 200%;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/strong><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Century\"><strong style=\"\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><\/span><\/strong><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Century\"><strong style=\"\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">ShinShin Matsumura<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-US\"> (1835-1896)<\/span><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><o:p><font size=\"3\" face=\"Century\"> <\/font><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt; text-indent: 42pt; line-height: 200%;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Century\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Matsumura was born in Shuri, on <\/span><st1:date month=\"1\" day=\"1\" year=\"1835\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">January 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 1835<\/span><\/st1:date><span lang=\"EN-US\">.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>He was a student of Ansho Nomura as well as his primary assistant in the editing of the Kintei KunKunShi (Nomura KunKunShi).<span style=\"\"> <\/span><\/span><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Century\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"\"> <\/span>He was himself the primary compiler and editor for the fourth and final volume of the Nomura Style collection of songs, ` Shuishu `.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>He also became the successor of the Tansui Ryu (style) and along with Seiki Yamauchi edited the Tansui Ryu KunKunShi.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>In addition, he also edited Sou(Koto)Fu<\/span><\/font><span century=\"\" mso-hansi-font-family:=\"\" mso-ascii-font-family:=\"\" &#26126;&#26397;=\"\" style=\"\">&#12289;<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Century\">or Koto sheet music.<span style=\"\">  <\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt; text-indent: 42pt; line-height: 200%;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Century\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">In memory of his great achievements and contributions to classical music, his students created <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: rgb(46, 46, 46); line-height: 200%;\">Classical Ryukyuan Music Nomura School Matsumura Togenkai, in 1960.<span style=\"\">   <\/span>While being fully established and recognized with their sister Nomura Style organizations, The Matsumura Togen Kai do use there own KunKunShi.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The difference is a<\/span><\/font><span century=\"\" mso-hansi-font-family:=\"\" mso-ascii-font-family:=\"\" mso-font-kerning:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-family:=\"\" mso-bidi-font-size:=\"\" style=\"color: rgb(46, 46, 46); line-height: 200%;\">&#12288;<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: rgb(46, 46, 46); line-height: 200%;\"><font face=\"Century\">matter of style of writing the vocal singing system.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>A follower of the Matsumura line of artists, Shishu created this system. <span style=\"\"> <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt; text-indent: 42pt; line-height: 200%;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Century\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: rgb(46, 46, 46); line-height: 200%;\">Up until that point, the followers of Matsumura had used the same voice tablature used by both the, Classical Ryukyuan Music Nomura School Music Association (Established 1924), as well as Classical Ryukyuan Music Nomura School Classical Music Preservation Committee (Established 1955). <span style=\"\"> <\/span>This singing system was first penned by two students of Master Kuwae, Seizui Isagawa and Kunio Serei during the period of 1935-1941. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt; line-height: 200%;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Century\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">ShinShin Matsumura passed on, <\/span><st1:date month=\"12\" day=\"19\" year=\"1896\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">December 19<sup>th<\/sup>, 1896<\/span><\/st1:date><span lang=\"EN-US\">.<\/span><\/font><\/font><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: rgb(46, 46, 46);
