Versatile and easy to use, Mirin is prized by both professional chefs as well as Japanese households for its ability to enhance flavor.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 140%;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; line-height: 140%; font-family: Osaka;\"><font face=\"&#65325;&#65331; &#65328;&#12468;&#12471;&#12483;&#12463;\">Mirin is a fermented product made from <em><span style=\"font-family: Osaka;\">mochigome<\/span><\/em> (sweet rice), <em><span style=\"font-family: Osaka;\">koji<\/span><\/em>, alcohol and sugar. Gekkeikan mirin enhances the flavor of cooking ingredients while giving a mildly sweet character to create a satisfying balance.<o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font size=\"3\" face=\"Century\">Dice-cut tofu and tomato <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font size=\"3\" face=\"Century\">Slice goya and gently squeeze goya with 1 table spoon salt about 30 seconds and wash and dry. This process is to reduce the bitter taste of the goya.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><o:p><font size=\"3\" face=\"Century\"> <\/font><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0mm 0mm 0pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font size=\"3\" face=\"Century\">Just dish up.
